First phone call
It is believed that the first phone call was made by Alexander Graham Bell on March 10, 1876. In fact, the phone was invented by the Italian Antonio Meucci, who asked Bell for a patent for his invention 5 years ago in 1871. A.Bell’s fame is explained by the fact that it was he and the Bell company he created that contributed to the popularization of telephony and the wide development of the industry.Bell called his electrical assistant, Thomas Watson, to indicate the electrical transmission of the speech. The first conversation took place between two people who were in different rooms: “Watson, come on! I need you here.”This event was named Bell’s “greatest success” as a demonstration of the first successful use of the phone. The first telephone conversation in Russia took place in November 1879 between St. Petersburg and Malaya Vishera.
