What is Emotional Intelligence (EQ)?
(EQ) is the ability to recognize one’s own and other people’s emotions and manage them, to understand the intentions, motivations and desires of other people, one’s own, the ability to manage one’s own emotions and the emotions of other people in order to solve practical problems. EQ is an index of personal and social skills.
A person can be said to have high emotional intelligence if he remains balanced in any situation and knows how to interact with the emotions of others.
If a person has a low EQ, then he experiences negative emotions, but often cannot understand their cause, is afraid of mistakes and does not draw conclusions from them, has a hard time recovering from failure, and often gets hung up on mistakes.
To develop EQ, you need to learn how to manage your emotions. Once you understand how you feel and why, move on to controlling your emotions.
